Slime Seas Race Tier List
Complete race tier list for Slime Seas: Human, Fishman, Skypiean, Elf, Oni, Lunarian, Djinn, Dragonborn, and Shadowborn ranked with roll rates.
Race Rarity & Roll Rates
Slime Seas features nine races across five rarity tiers with published approximate roll rates from the official Trello board. These rates apply to initial character creation and race reroll items from codes like LIKES25K (10 rerolls) or expired bundles like HUBISLAND (3 rerolls).
| Race | Rarity | Roll Rate | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Human | Common | ~48% | C |
| Fishman | Uncommon | ~16–18% | B |
| Skypiean | Uncommon | ~16–18% | B |
| Elf | Rare | ~6–7.5% | B |
| Oni | Rare | ~6–7.5% | A |
| Lunarian | Fabled | ~2% | A |
| Djinn | Fabled | ~2% | A |
| Dragonborn | Legendary | ~0.25% | S |
| Shadowborn | Legendary | ~0.25% | S |
Expected rerolls to hit a legendary: roughly 400 attempts at 0.25% per roll. LIKES25K's 10 rerolls give a ~2.5% cumulative chance at one legendary — still low, but free.
S-Tier: Dragonborn & Shadowborn
Dragonborn (Legendary, 0.25%): Top-tier offensive passives synergize with Berserker burst and Greatsword heavy attacks. Dominates Monarch Statue trio DPS checks at level 360+ where 300,000 HP pools require maximum single-target output. Best paired with Berserker build or Greatsword build and Shadow Steel / Igris armor from Monarch drops.
Shadowborn (Legendary, 0.25%): Shadow World thematic passives boost survivability and damage during end-game content in Zone 4. Excels with Scythe AoE for Duskfall Isle mob packs and Monarch Statue sustain phases. Chasing 0.17% Necroshade or Hollow Wraith Blade drops pairs naturally with Shadowborn stat bonuses.
Both legendaries justify hoarding rerolls from active codes. Use the reroll guide at the proper NPC rather than burning rerolls without a target race in mind.
A-Tier: Lunarian, Djinn & Oni
Lunarian (Fabled, 2%): Strong hybrid stats for Katana speed clears and mid-game Sinbad farms. A realistic target within 50 code-sourced rerolls. Recommended for players who want Fabled power without 400-roll legendary grind.
Djinn (Fabled, 2%): The DJINNDUNGEON expired code teased this race's popularity. Djinn passives boost technique scaling — excellent for players investing technique rerolls from LIKES25K into mastery trees. Pairs well with Katana and Scythe.
Oni (Rare, 6–7.5%): PvP-oriented passives punch above rarity in duels near Guild Headquarters. Competitive players rolling Oni early can dominate open PvP while still progressing PvE through Ogre Lord at level 255.
B-Tier & C-Tier: Viable Starters
Elf, Fishman, Skypiean (B-tier): Respectable passives for specific niches. Fishman supports sustain during long Rima farm sessions. Skypiean mobility helps island traversal before fast travel unlocks. Elf balances stats for generalist Katana builds. Keep these rolls through early game rather than rerolling endlessly at level 10.
Human (C-tier, 48%): No standout passive but no penalty either. Most new accounts start Human. Clear Demon Lord Rima (4,000 HP, level 65) comfortably with Human + Katana + Iron Novice gear from boss drops. Reroll Human only after exhausting free codes and reaching mid-game where race passives multiply with Superior potions.
Compare race passives against your chosen mastery on the mastery tier list and plan gear from armor sets page before committing rerolls.
