How to Beat Demon Lord Rima

Boss Overview

Demon Lord Rima is Slime Seas' first major boss — the gatekeeper between early Slime Forest content and The Dunes mid-game. Located on Rima's Spire (Island 3, Slime Forest zone) at recommended level 65 with 4,000 HP solo. Rima is the first boss that requires intentional gear preparation rather than raw level stat scaling.

Drops: Slime Katana (1.77%), Wing Flaps (35.5%), Iron Novice Pants (23.66%), Iron Novice Chestplate (17.75%), Slime Lord pieces (8–12%). Farm guide: boss routes. Build: Katana build.

Preparation Checklist

• Level 60+ (65 recommended)
• Katana mastery with combo extension technique
• Full Blacksmith craftable armor — Blacksmith guide
• Health potions from shop (5+)
• LIKES25K EXP potion activated at queue start (optional)
• All active codes redeemed — codes

Do NOT attempt Rima at level 40 with starter gear — death loops waste time. Grind Crimson Ruins (level 30) until stats feel comfortable.

Fight Mechanics

Rima uses telegraphed slam attacks with ground AoE indicators and a frontal swipe combo. Pattern: approach when idle → attack during opening window → dash sideways when ground glows red → re-engage from behind for backstab bonus if mastery supports it.

Phase 2 below ~50% HP (~2,000 remaining): attack speed increases. Maintain dash discipline — greedy combo extensions cause most first-clear deaths. SlimeSlayer Greater Power Potion from active codes shortens fight duration reducing error exposure.

Estimated clear time: 3–8 minutes depending on gear. Average ~56 kills for Slime Katana at 1.77% rate.

Post-Rima Progression

After first clear, farm Rima for Slime Katana and Iron Novice set completion before pushing Desert Island (level 90, The Dunes). Rima remains relevant farm through level 90 for material drops even after zone transition.
