Why Rebirth Prep Matters

The July 6, 2026 Rebirths update retitled Slime Seas to [REBIRTHS] Slime Seas ⚔️ Anime RPG and added optional end-game resets after Monarch Statue. Rebirthing without preparation wastes your only 360+ farm window and leaves you under-geared on cycle two. This guide is the practical checklist between beating Monarch and pressing the rebirth button.

Pre-Rebirth Checklist

1. Defeat Monarch Statue at least once — earn the Defeated Statue Monarch badge and confirm rebirth UI unlocks in Shadow World.
2. Redeem every active code — LIKES25K (10 race rerolls, 2 technique rerolls, Superior EXP 60 min) and SlimeSlayer before reset. Rerolls carry over; potions do not stack across logout if unused.
3. Complete one Shadow Steel / Igris farm session — Sigil Fragments drop at 42.02%. Bank duplicate weapons for Blacksmith crystals.
4. Finalize race and mastery — reroll race with code stockpile (reroll guide). Save technique rerolls until level 30 on cycle two.
5. Bank valuable gear — confirm what resets vs carries over on the in-game rebirth confirmation screen before accepting.
6. Join a trio for final Monarch farms — 300,000 trio HP is faster than 160,000 solo; server capacity is 15 players post-update.

What to Farm Before Resetting

Shadow Steel and Igris armor from Monarch Statue are the biggest permanent power spikes in Zone 4. One full farm session (20–40 kills with Extra Boss Drop gamepass) typically yields enough Sigil Fragments and duplicate pieces to dismantle into upgrade crystals.

Ogre Horns (41.58%) from Ogre Lord remain valuable crafting inputs even after Shadow World — stockpile if your rebirth bonuses favor crafting efficiency. Pets hatched via Ash the Pet Master carry over per July 2026 community verification — see pets guide.

Do not rebirth immediately after first Monarch kill. The 360+ level bracket is where 0.17% ultra-rare weapons (Amethyst Avenger, Hollow Wraith Blade, Necroshade) drop. Rebirthing too early locks you out of that farm window until you climb back.

When NOT to Rebirth Yet

• You have not cleared all four boss badges (Rima, Sinbad, Ogre Lord, Monarch)
• You lack a full Shadow Steel or Igris armor set for your main mastery
• You have unspent LIKES25K race rerolls and have not optimized race for cycle two
• Dungeon content is imminent — check official Trello and update log before resetting during a pre-patch window
• You are still learning Monarch mechanics — second-cycle speed only helps if you know boss routes

Rebirth is optional. Staying at level 360+ without resetting is valid if you prefer Monarch farming over horizontal progression.

After Your First Rebirth

Cycle two targets: blast through Slime Forest using rebirth bonuses + LIKES25K Superior EXP Potion during Crimson Ruins grind. Katana or Greatsword remain fastest for 0–160 — see progression route.
