How to Get Pets in Slime Seas

Pet System Overview
Slime Seas pets provide passive combat or utility bonuses alongside your race and mastery build. The primary pet NPC is Ash, the Pet Master, located on the Ice Bridge above Demon Lord Rima's arena on Rima's Spire (Island 3, Slime Forest). Ash unlocks after defeating Rima — hatch drake eggs through his questline for your first combat pet.
Event pets like Spring Bunny (Epic rarity) appeared during the April 2026 Spring Event (Update 1.8). Limited-time pets may not return until annual event reruns. NPC map: NPC locations.
Ash the Pet Master — Drake Eggs
Unlock requirement: Defeat Demon Lord Rima at least once — Rima guide.
Location: Ice Bridge above Rima's boss arena. Use Adventurer Dave waypoints after unlocking fast travel — NPC map.
Questline: Accept Ash's drake egg quest, gather required materials from Slime Forest drops, return to hatch. Drake pets scale with your level and provide DPS or stat passives depending on hatch variant.
Pets persist through the July 2026 Rebirth system per community verification — hatch before rebirthing to keep companions across cycles.
Spring Bunny Event Pet
The Spring Event (April 15, 2026, Update 1.8) introduced Spring Bunny at Epic rarity from the limited-time Spring Event zone. Bonus material yields and exclusive armor drops accompanied the pet release.
Post-event availability unconfirmed — check events page for return announcements. Spring Event also raised server capacity (12 → 14, later 15 with Rebirths update).
Pet Tips
Prioritize Rima clear before pet hunting — Ash is inaccessible until first boss kill. Pets complement but do not replace armor set bonuses from armor page.
During rebirth speed runs, pets accelerate early-zone mob clears. Pair with Katana mobility on Katana build for fastest second-cycle leveling.
