How to Beat Ogre Lord
Strategy guide for Ogre Lord: level 255, 45,000 solo / 90,000 trio HP, Ogre Horns at 41.58%, and Steel Adventurer crafting farm.
Boss Overview
Ogre Lord is the third major boss in Goblin Ruins (Zone 3) at Ogre Lord's Bastion (Island 9). Recommended level 255 with 45,000 HP solo or 90,000 HP in trio. Ogre Lord is the premier crafting-input farm — Ogre Horns drop at 41.58%, making this the highest-volume material loop before Shadow World.
Notable rare drops: Doomblade, Gilded Leviathan, Monarch's Scythe at 0.51% each. Steel Adventurer armor crafting consumes Ogre Horns en masse. Route: boss routes. Build: Greatsword or Scythe.
Preparation
- Level 250+ (255 recommended)
- Thorn/Copper Novice minimum from Sinbad farms
- Greatsword charge investment or Scythe AoE for add waves
- Trio recommended for first clears (90,000 HP scales)
- LIKES25K EXP potion for level catch-up if under-leveled
- Health potions — Ogre Lord hits harder than Sinbad's 15,000 HP pool
Push through Goblin's Landing (190) and Shattered Hollow (220) before attempting. Prior boss: King Sinbad at 160.
Fight Mechanics
Ogre Lord combines heavy slam attacks with goblin add spawns during enrage. Trio strategy: one player draws adds with Scythe AoE while Greatsword main focuses boss HP bar. Solo players kite adds in circles and burst during Ogre Lord recovery frames after ground slams.
Phase 2 below ~40% HP increases add spawn rate — save abilities for add clear before re-engaging boss. Ogre Horns drop frequently enough that most sessions yield 1+ horns; plan inventory space before marathon farms.
Steel Adventurer crafting at Blacksmith consumes horn stacks — farm 20–30 horns before crafting full set.
Post-Ogre Progression
With Steel Adventurer gear and horn stockpile, push Shadow World through Duskfall Isle (315) toward Monarch Statue (360+). Ogre Lord remains relevant for horn top-ups and 0.51% weapon chase.
Next boss: Monarch Statue guide. End-game: Rebirth system after Monarch clear. Weapons: Doomblade and Monarch's Scythe.
